I’m back. Life should be normal again starting tomorrow after 5 days escape to Bangkok.

I’ve had my reservation about the city previously, but my second trip there finally proved me wrong. I’d definitely be back next time.

I’d probably share our adventure there, and upload some pictures, but in the meantime there’s a small matter of checking out 710 emails in my Inbox. So for the time being, you just have to check out one picture of the funniest noodle seller in Bangkok.

incomprehensible

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

Lately I’m sensing to have difficulty in making myself comprehensible or explaining things to other people in writing. It’s unusual that words don’t come easily for me.

It doesn’t mean that I always make myself clear to anyone else. It’s just that it was never a problem with me before. And it’s quite disturbing as it starts to affect my confidence.

Why do I have a feeling that most of you out there are throwing your hands up? "Hallelujah! Now he finally realizes!!"

solace

Monday, October 15th, 2007

I miss my Sunday afternoon drive alone. And to just sit there, feeling small & helpless while crying my heart out. I feel like the benches there know my deepest, darkest secrets, and always be ready to put their wooden arms around me while I’m pouring myself out.

The only place I know where someone will listen and provide comforting solace.

downloading rainbows

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

In_rainbowsI’ve registered my email address for a chance to download Radiohead’s new album right after I read the news about it. One can also pay (the correct term may be "tip") the band the amount that they like for it.

How much did I pay? 0 pound and 0 pence. But it’s more to test if what the news reported was true.

Hailed as a ground-breaking move or cheap, marketing sensation (depending on which you believe), the buzz generated from it was defintely put the boys back on the music scene. However, I think it’s more appropriate to talk about the album rather than debating about the actual motive behind the album launch.

I won’t even try to give you my reviews here, as you could google it and find better, quality insight somewhere else. Not to mention the fact that I suck at reviewing music. This album is not as majestic as Kid A, but it’s definitely better than Amnesiac or even Hail To The Thief.

My favourite tracks so far are Jigsaw Falling Into Place, Reckoner, 15 Steps, and Bodysnatchers. The whole album is now on Repeat mode in my music player. I’m totally in rainbows.
