The fact that I finished Rooney’s autobiography in one sitting puzzled me. It could be because either I’m insomniac or the book’s so light. I actually had my doubt before deciding to buy the book, as I wondered what he would tell us in such early stages of his career. And judging from the title, we can be sure that more book will definitely be published at the latter time.
It’s certainly up-to-date with the fiasco in Germany with Portugal & a certain Ronaldo covered altogether with the pictures. I also like the fact that Rooney provides more information about life in United’s dressing room & Carrington than Giggsy’s or Keano’s book.
However, I think Wazza doesn’t need to repeatedly tell us how much he loves Coleen or how good she is in her performance or in her life. We get it, son. Tell us something else that we don’t know.
If Rooney is being true to his words on wanting to stay Red till the end of his career, then it’s with great anticipation that we await his next autobiography where he may diss his next manager after David Moyes, Sir Alex Ferguson himself.
Will he?
PS: I think it’s worth noting that the cover of my book has Rooney’s back in United shirt instead of England.
